Sony Ericsson has announced a music store that will allow users of new Walkman phones to purchase full tracks. The store, called M-BUZZ is an extension of the Play Now service which allows users with unlocked Sony Ericsson phones to download samples of songs, ringtones and other media. M-BUZZ will offer full tracks from a curated selection of new and rising artists each month as well as interviews and videos with them. It will be available to users of the W850 and W950 UMTS Walkman phones beginning in October. Since these phones will not work on US 3G networks, Sony Ericsson is unlikely to bring M-BUZZ to the US for some time.
